IP manager and assistant feature

Dears,

I have a manager phones more than 3 lines and the assistant phone with only 2 lines, is it possible to configure IPMA with assistant 2 line phone.According to the link below, it shows that the assistant has 3 lines phones the 3rd line which i see is only for the intercom between the manager and the assistant.

i have only 2 line phone so i have want to confirm from experts, is it in my scenario the configs will work.

Yes, an IPMA Assistant with only 2 Lines available can work. Just use Proxy Mode. The Intercom Button is only optional. If you follow the Cisco Docs (except for the Intercom Feature) the config will work for you.
