I have third party SIP IP phone and I want to connect this ip phone to CCM 5.1 so is there required any extra third party license purchase or not ?

Hi Jay,
you will need 3 device licence units for a single line phone and 6 for a multiline phone, here is a link that gives the amount of units needed for each type of phone

I do have other third Party ip phones like Avavya,Polycom etc. and we want to configure SIP as the call control protocol to make cisco ip phones compatible with those third party ip phones.Is it required to purchase the third party phone licence from Cisco or what else?Please suggest me .
