IP Phone 3905 do not display "not enough bandwidth" message

Hello everyone,

I'm about to deploy a project with a lot of 3905 SIP Phones. In some locations we're going to limit the amount of calls using CAC-Locations.

When there's no enough bandwidth to the call complete a message appears on the phone screen saying "not enough bandwidth".

In my lab I simulate this conditions and it worked very well. So far so good.

Weel, the problem is that in IP Phone 3905 there's no "not enough bandwidth" message in display. The call just finsish and the phone comes back to default screen.

I tested in other phones like, 8941 (sccp), IPComm and 8961 (SIP) and the message appears normaly.

Can someone tell me if this is one more limitation of this kind of phone?

Thanks in advance.

IP Phone 3905 do not display "not enough bandwidth" message

Hi,

I believe this is a limitation of the phone itself. The screen is too little, therefore it does not support all the messages and softkeys or features as other IP phones do.

Regards,

Tere.
