we have issues with the 6941 IP phones which we have recently started deploying, these phone will be loading the firmware from CUCM 8.0.3 but they are stuck in some stage and displaying only the Cisco log message on screen. These phones were previously receiving the IP confiuration from DHCP and we can check trough CDP on swtiches as if they are connected. But sicne their loading of the firmware is failed for some reason they are not even showing as CDP neighbours on switches and also no IP addresse are leased from DHCP pool. we have unplugg the phone, out them back and shut/no shut the switch port but phone gets the power from swtich and displays cisco logo message but not getting IP addresses from DHCP and also not showing up as CDP neighbours. Please anyone help in identifying the issue?
We tested 7940 phone they work fine but right now the problem i am working why they are not showing in CDP neigbours and why their MAC address are not being learned on swtich port. There is not switch port security deployed on switches anywhere
Symptom: 6941 6921 6961 when plugging a different PC the switch port goes into err-disable state with the error "new MAC address is seen".Conditions: Using dot1x plugging a different PCWorkaround: wait for some time before plugging the new PC. The phone needs to send CDP to indicate that the pc port is disconnected so it can log off the session.

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
