IP Phone 7940

The problem i have with the 7940 phone is that they keep showing the message Configuring IP randomly. To overcome this i usually unplug the phone from the network and then plug it back in and after that it works fine without any issue but this is not a proper solution so any one can help in this manner. I have CCM 4.2 and the DHCP for the phones are created on the Router.

Make sure you are using latest phone load

Is phone resetting?

check EVent Viewer

Thats the topology

I would open a TAC case for more investigation
