IP Phone 7945 Rebooting loop

We have Cisco IP Phone 7945, Call manager version 9.1 in our network. There was an issue with the time displayed on the phone due to which I tried to upgrade the firmware on the phone by resetting the phone to factory default (as per the procedure). After the resetting to factory default the ip phone is gone into a rebooting loop. The phone boots and tries to upgrade and then displays an Auth Fail error and reboot again.

Hi,

It looks like you tried to upgrade the firmware from a pre 8.5.2 version to a post 8.5.2 version. You should try and upgrade to the intermediate 8-5-2S firmware before upgrading to a higher version. The Auth fail error is commonly seen in the above scenario.
