We have just setup CUCM IP telephony in our environment.
One user IP Phone is able to receive calls but there is no ringtone.
On the LCD screen, we can see there is incoming calls.
What could be wrong ??

Have you checked the phone itself is not faulty??

We took delivery of the ip phones 3 weeks ago.
How do i confirm that the phone itself is faulty ?
should i do a reset to factory default ?

Check the volume button before you go any further. I say this from first hand experience

checked volume button - okay.
checked DND not activated.
did a disconnect and re-connect of LAN cable from phone to LAN point solved the problem after the phone boot up.
strange problem.
