We have several users in India using IP Phones that connect directly to a VoIP system in the US. They connect over MPLS circuits directly to the system in the US. There is no other device between the IP Phone and the US system. I have heard recently that the India DOT might be changing the OSP regulationg to no longer allow this. The new regulation would provide that you need to first connect the IP phone to a system within India and then "gateway" to the system in the US. Has anyone else heard this? Thanks.
