IP Phone still rings when i hung up a call (MGCP Gateway)

Hi dear,

I configured an MGCP gateway on the Cisco Unified Communication 6.0(1). I noticed that when i placed a call from the PSTN to the IP Phone though MGCP gatway, the IP phone rings which is normal but still rings when i hung up the call..

Could you please help me.

does the same happens if you do an internal call to the phone?

Or does it only happens when calling in from PSTN?

Hi,

yes, it happens for the internal and external calls.

IP Phone <-> IP Phone (internal calls)

IP Phone <-> PSTN (external calls)

And even, i reject the call for both scenario, the Ip phone still rings
