I recently upgraded a customer from 7.1.3 to 7.1.5, and after that, it´s no longer possible to see what switchport the phone is connected to from the phone´s web interface.
Does anyone know if this is a feature i need to turn on, or has it been removed in the firmware?
App Load ID CP7912080003SCCP070409A
Boot Load ID LD0100BOOT021112A
Software Version 8.0.3(070409A)
Thanks!

I have never encountered a feature for this. The only place where CUCM would even provide the option to do so would be in the model-specific configuration settings at the bottom of its Device Configuration. It was most likely removed from the firmware. Thankfully you can use 'show cdp neighbors' from the switch instead to see what phone is attached to what port.

Hi Jonathan,
We have this feature for new phones also, So I dont think it is removed. For example 9951 phones will show the switch port under GUI
CDP Neighbor Port |
May be it is a Bug in new release. or they have changed location or the display.

Check that CDP is enabled on the phone, we dont have any 7912 phones but a lot of other models and don't have any problems with this.
