I am using cisco ip phone 8845 model and 7821 model.   how can end users set password(lock) to their ip phones.? please help

YOU COULD use extension mobility to sort of do it, but its nothing like a lock pin on a mobile

This isn't doable in cisco phone. What you can use is extension mobility to login/logout of the profile. You can set timeouts and auto-logout for this feature as well.
