I have a problem with some ip phones models that was on secure mode, since last month we got a security error on displays, I restart the cluster and nothing. I check with a pc on phone vlan and can reach all URL.
When I config those phones on non-secure mode, I lost the corporate directory ( no come on the display), missing the acctual time zone and cant be setting again, also the expation modules cant go UP.
When check the LSC certificates display says: "NOT INSTALED".
What call manager version are you using? CUCM 8.x+ is the only version that security should have anything to do with phone services not working. Do the phones register or fail to register with a security error? You could try on a test phone to delete the ITL and/or CTL file and see if the phone registers correctly with a non-secure phone security profile set on it in CUCM. If that doesn't work the call manager logs will tell us why the phone isn't registering properly.
