Hi All,
Even though I have created the CM Group (Publisher-Subscriber), the Inactive Server does not appear in the IP Phone and when Pub is down IP Phone dies too.
Any suggestion ? Did I miss something ?
Thanks in advanced.

First of all your Subscriber should be the primary server in your group.
Is CM service running on both servers?
Is the phone getting the proper config from TFTP server?
Are your CUCM servers defined with hostnames or IP addresses under the System configuration? Make sure you are using IP addresses as this is very typical of an DNS issue.

Is TFTP service started and running on the server you are using?

Yes it is activated...

So, when you go to the IP address of the phone and look at the list of CM servers you only see the publisher listed?
Is your database replication OK?

At GW we are using just one IP server (option 150)...is that right ?

When you say GW, do you mean that the router is used as your DHCP scope?
If so, pointing to one or more active TFTP servers is OK.

Yes, GW is the Router used as DHCP scope, and at Phones only publisher is listed.
If I do not pointing to another TFTP server via GW, Suscriber will not appear ?

That has nothing to do with it, DHCP just provides basic info, the .cnf.xml file is what contains the CUCM group info, if it's not showing in the phones, either they're not downloading the new files, or the new files are not being created, try changing the TFTP parameter of build CNF files to build all, restart the TFTP service, and then restart the phones.

Also, check that the phone has a device pool that has the correct callmanager group associated? Might be still using the default?

sounds like your phone is not picking up the changes you made to the CM group or your CM group is not applied to the phone.
dont worry about option 150, that is not where the issue is.
I would remove the phone and re-add it. Only thing you have to look at is that the phone pickups an active and standby server based in the cm-group config (which gets applied to the phone through the phones device pool, as stated above). Make sure this is all configured, before you do any further diagnostics.
Thanks

Hi all,
All you are commented was already done before looking at only one server at Phone List servers: CUCM Group (Sub-Pub) inside Device Pool (No Default using), just one option 150 IP Address used and remove the phone and re-add it.
JAVA, what you mean exactly when say "try changing the TFTP Parameter of build CNF files to build all..." ?
Thanks in advanced,

Do you get any error messages on your phone under status messages? Is the trust list being updated successfully? If it's not, it might be causing the configuration download to be unsuccessful.

Hi Gerardo.
Can you also specify which model of IP phone are you using and firmware version?
Thanks.
