Hi!
Good day!
Our company has one big project in one hotel here in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. They have a requirement of 100 analog telephone .
Now we want to propose an IP Telephony System. Can you give us advice on what solution we can use for this system? What are the requirements cope up with 100 IP Telephony System. What is the level of call manager for this system?
Thank you very for your time and replies.
Have a nice day!

Hi
You can use Cisco sizing tool.

If there is only that number of phones you could use CUCME , one of the newer 39** routers with maybe a Unity module for voicemail, auto-attendant.

Thank you very much Ronak Patel & Craig Baum for the input. I appreciate it.

For just 100 phones, I would probably recommend an UC560 and 2960 PoE switches. The advanatge is that it comes with everything needed and you only add liceses in case you need more phones. It also has a GUI to make mamanget easier for people that never did Cisco phones before.

Sorry guys, but it should be 1,000 IP phones not 100.

Hi Sonny,
your question is very broad you need to have a meeting with your client and find out what are the current functions in their current system
and what they want to improve thier system and meet busnins requriments
for example
Basic:
1- is it single site
2- do they have DID numbers
3- how hotel rooms call each other and what improvemnt you can add like hiding calling number ..etc
4- billing if any
5- do they want to consider some service desk agents where you can add contact center express here
6- any voice mail required ?
advanced:
you can propose video end points of Cisco where they can have video calls if they need anywhere within the hotel for example
hope this help
