IPIPGW -- H.323 to SIP Issue

Hi,

I have an issue with an IPIPGW that has an H323 trunk to one CCM cluster and a SIP trunk to another CCM cluster.

When I place a call from the SIP side to the H323 side? when the call is answered the calling party continues to hear ringing while the called party hears dead air. When the calling party hangs up the call ends on both sides.

This seems to work fine if I configure the IPIPGW to do H323-to-H323 so I?m fairly certain there?s an issue with the SIP trunk.

I?ve included the output of <debug ccsip messages> from the IPIPGW.

Re: IPIPGW -- H.323 to SIP Issue

Did you resolve this issue? I'm experiencing the same problem

Re: IPIPGW -- H.323 to SIP Issue

Make sure you check the "Enable Inbound Faststart" box on the H323 trunk config page.

Re: IPIPGW -- H.323 to SIP Issue

I solve a similar problem with the Inbound & Outbound fast start enabled with G.729 codec and MTP required on the GW configuration. MTP software configured into the IPIPGW

Hope this help.
