IPPA and pickupgroups

I have a question if this is an supported configuration:

Putting IP Phones in a pickupgroup when they also have the IPPA (ip phone agent) service running.

We are using Cisco Unified CM 7.1.2 and Cisco Unified CCX Enhanced 7.0(1)SR03_Build011

You can do it but I would not recommend it.

You cannot Call Pickup a call that is ringing on an agents phone that is under the control of UCCX.

However these types of call do trigger audio and visual alerts (if configured) on the other phones in the pickup group which is pretty confusing.

The only types of call that can be picked are are calls direct to the DN assigned to the phone - not ones that come via UCCX (or hunt groups for that matter).
