I am facing prob in a cisco 7940 ip phone when i connect it its not getting dhcp server ip, ip address and cm ip, only getting vlan id. but when i m configuring voice and data vlan are same in switch port then its working. so plz help me what is the prob and how can i fixed it? But all other phone are working with different voice and data vlan.

Please paste your switch configs (mask sensitive information). is the dhcp server on the switch or a Cisco ios router or an external box ?

DHCP server on the core switch(4510) but the phone is connected with floor switch(3750).

At the same configuration all are 7940 and 7941 ip phone is working but this prob is only for a perticular phone 7940.
