Is it still possible to build a FXO to FXS call (using connection plar xxx) on Cisco 2811 VoIP router to a Cisco 2911 VoIP Router? The command works fine between 2811 VoIP Routers.

HI Chris,
Strange! The config I have works fine between 2 x 2811 VoIP routers, but using a VoIP 2911 Router no joy:(
What I'm trying to do is link an old Mitel SX2000 PABX to a remote site using FXO cards in main site and FXSs card in the remote site.
Main Site
voice-port 0/0/0
timeouts call-disconnect 3
timeouts wait-release 10
connection plar opx 200
dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 100
port 0/0/0
!
dial-peer voice 100 voip
description PLAR to KA-VOIP-CIS1
destination-pattern 200
session target ipv4:172.22.241.39
dtmf-relay h245-signal
Remote Site
voice-port 0/0/2
connection plar 100
dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 200
port 0/0/2
!
dial-peer voice 100 voip
destination-pattern 100
session target ipv4:172.22.241.35
dtmf-relay h245-signal

What IOS version are you using on the 29XX?
So, I am slightly confused what are the GWs connecting to? Are the both connecting to Mitel systems on both sides? Why would one have trunk and other station port then?

Hi Chris,
The IOS is (C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M) Version 15.1(4)MZ
The Main site is connected to the Mitel SX2000 with 4 Long Line Extensions these extensions are for 4 POTS Telephones on the remote site.
I can get it to work using voice-port - connection trunk, but would prefer to use connection plar so that I haven't got permanent calls in place across the link. What I can't figure out is why it works between to 2811 series Routers but not using a 2911 Router!
Thanks Gary.

Add the following:
voice service voip
no ip address trusted authenticate
let us know if that worked.
