is possible to upgrade the cme in this way?

i have a cme version 3.3, running in a 3640 router, with the lastest ios, with 128 ram and 32 flash, and i want to upgrade the cme to 4.0 or later if it is possible, but the flash is too small, so i installed two compact flash each one of 16M, i would like to know, if i could install the cme on a disk0 or disk1, and leave the ios running on the flash memory, is it possible?

extract cme files on disk0, and the ios in the internal flash, and call in some way the cme from disk0 or disk1.

It's hard to say. If the entire IOS fits on one 16 MB flash you can probably do this.

You would then do this in CME:

telephony-service

cnf location slot1:

It would probably be more painful to do this, but you can do it.
