isdn channel for outbound call

I am using as5350xm (connected to a single PRI T1)and asterisk.

Could i specify a specific channel id to dial out?

If not, what mechanism (robin-robin, most idle) does cisco allocate channels for outbound call?

Cisco uses descending order by default [Most Telcos default to ascending].

You can change the behavior with:

isdn bchan-number-order {ascending | descending}
