Hi All,

(lab purposes)

I'm having issues with my E1 voice PRI interface

ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: Ux_DLRelInd: DL_REL_IND received from L2

I configured one of my sites ( CME ) with E1 pri but my router keeps telling the above messages.

If i look in my PSTN voice router i get the same

Hi Yahshiel,

I've attached the 2 configs .in the first discussion.

New update:

ive configured everthing from scratch, removed all the e1 pri interfaces

( voice-port shut.... no isdn switch......after that a no shut and defined pri groups timeslots etc etc)

matser and slave site

I see the line at PSTN site still bouncing:

ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: Ux_DLRelInd: DL_REL_IND received from L2

Hi,

Looking at your WAN PSTN config, it looks like the CCIE VOICE PSTN config.

This issue occurs when you are  testing call-routing (Inbound/Outbound) then the L3 flaps and router stops responding.

The debugs you pasted about indicates that you Layer 2 is flapping and the Telco being at your end which is controllered by you. You need to check if the hardware resources are fine.

show voice dsp group all

Let me know the same.

Sounds a little bit stupid but it worked.

The problem was i think a cable issue.

I tried another crossover cable from one of my other "Sites"

And seems this works fine, from both sites i can call.

DID also works fine.

Anyway i need to check my cables, could be a problem.

I'll keep this discussion open maybe the problem will arise in case the problem happens again.

Hi Mohamed.

Your PSTN E1 controller, reports a Far End Block Errors Detected this usually indicates a Layer 1 issue.

I would start checking the cable connecting the PSTN E1 controller with Site C E1 Controller.

Let me know
