Hello,
I need some help here. I am going to install a MGCP gateway ( Cisco 2911 ISR) at a remote site in Vancouver, Canada. They have a PRI and the switch type is GTD5, ISDN protocol is NI2. Does Cisco support GTD5? If no, what is my option?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

If they have the PRI configured as NI2, you should be able to use 'isdn switch-type primary-ni' regardless of what the actual switch is.

Before configuring MGCP, think twice, as that will impose major limitations, configuration overhead, and potential instability.
The alternative is to use H.323 or SIP instead.

Hi Paolo, I hear you but I do not have other option, we have 10 remote sites and they are all using MGCP.
Thanks
