Hi Friends,
I have Cisco 2851 router which is acting as callmanager express. I have an issue in it. I am saving the local time and it is replicating in the phones. After some hours the time is automatically changed to some other time. Please help me to resolve this friends.

Couple of questions will help understanding the issue:-
Is it happening with all the phones ?
Is it showing +/- one hour of difference ?
What is the Firmware version
Confirm that you have proper "type" defined under the ephone. If not, then after issuing do a "create cnf-file", and then "reset" the Phone.

Thanks for the reply
The anwser for the qustions which you have asked
1) Its applying to all the telephones.
2) It is showing + hours of differenc to the current timing. Somtimes it is 4 hrs, sometimes 6 hr ahead, sometimes 7 hrs aheead of the current timing.
3) version is 7.0
4) The type of the phone is properly defined under the ephone-dn's

Hi,
check under telephony-services which timezone is it using,if you set the router time (clock timezone) it should correspond with the time zone under telephony-services then you create cnf-files.
do these and lets see
conft t
#clock timezone Nigeria 1 (1 showing that Nigeria is GMT +1 therefore decide the time difference with your country
#telephony-services
#time-zone ? (to see the options for your country
#create cnf
