I can't get my new "7960G" phone to register with my Phone System: Using with Call Manager Express (CME): Ver. 4.1. Cisco Unity Express (CUE): Ver. 3.2. When connected it stays in "Configuration IP" status. I have one "7960G" phone connected that is working fine. It appears to have old firmware & the phone system is supposed to update it when connected. The current firmware is Version 3.1(MF.G2), App Load ID: P00303010200. The other 7960G (same model) phone shows the firmware is: 7.2 (4.0), App Load P00307020400. Clearly it has not updated the firmware, but I don't know why. Is there a way to manually update the firmware?
