Have a 3825 router acting as CUBE (SIP) with our provider. All this router does is act as a CUBE (no routing) and does some MTP and transcoding (very little, not very often). I'm seeing high CPU once a day or maybe once every 2 days at random times and it rejects calls per logs (I haven't heard of any complaints, and I haven't been able to catch it to see if call comes in our other CUBE when it is rejected on first one due to cpu).
Nov 7 2011 13:27:25.310 CST: %IVR-3-LOW_CPU_RESOURCE: IVR: System experiencing high cpu utilization (96/100).
Call (callID=599411) is rejected.

This is a 3825 router runnig IOS 12.4(24)T6, and doesn't have much else confgured besides a static default route and dial-peers and related voip/SIP setup. This CPU spike also happens at night (8-9pm) when there are maybe 2-3 calls on the router and I don't see CPU pegged during day when there are several more active calls.
Is therre a way to adjust this call rejection behavior? I've looked on cisco.com and can't find anything on this really.

The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
