Hey Guys,
I have a customer who uses 9 to call out and they will be using jabber mainly to dial out of outlook. But all the numbers in
the contact is save without 9, how can i go about with this.
IM & Presence 9.1.1.20000-5 and Jabber 9.2.4
CUCM: 9.1.1.20000-5

I echo Chris's words here, application dial rules is the way to go.
NB: you dont need to install the cop files as we used to do for previous versions of CUCM.

You will need to use translation pattern for that...
pattern : \+.!
discard digits: predot
prefix digits outoing calls: 900
That will strip the + and prefix 900

Add applicaton dial rules in CUCM for this purpose.

Thanks Guys. It works.
One more thing They have save some international numbers with + and the number of digits can vary.
How do i get that off and replace + with 00 so that it will take the application dialing rule i have made to call.
Its the number of digits i am concerned and the digit to remove
