Hi Guys,

I am trying to Recover corrupted CUCM 7.1 by using external CD-ROM but getting following error " Cannot find kickstart file on CD-ROM".Can any one hlep me how to fix this issue.

Have you downloaded the right Recovery Software relevant to your present CUCM 7.1.x version ? It can be downloaded from http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=282421166&flowid=5328&softwareid=282074294&release=7.1(5b)&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

Yes i have correct version of CUCM recovery software

What is the complete CUCM version & which recovery software is downloaded ?

Mostly, such error is seen only when an incorrect recovery software is used.

CUCM VERSION 7.1.3.30000-1

As you see there is no exact recovery software match available for your CUCM, I guess using 7.1.5.10000-12_recovery.iso should help you. Have you tried that already ?

Yes i tried with that one,Did you recover CUCM by using External USB before?

I'm also having the same problem with my CUCM, active version 7.1.5.34900-7 and im using a a recovery 7.1.5.30000-1 recovery.iso. im also using an external usb.
