We are doing a CUPS/CUCM integration with LDAP/Microsoft AD and I am wondering what field does the Binded DN compare to the account in AD?
First of all, there's no such thing called CUPS/LDAP integration. The LDAP configuration on CUPS is actually being used by CUPC (client).
In order to query LDAP, CUPC need a credential. This credential is called Binded DN. DN stands for "Distinguished Name".
The best way to find out the DN is to use the command below on a domain controller:
dsquery user -samid cupc_ldap
Where cupc_ldap is the logon name of AD (sAMAccountName).
