Licenses in CUCM 9.1 for IP Communicator ?

Hi all

Im new in CUCM 9 versions and i have some questions regarding licenses.

What kind of licenses do i need for CIPC in CUCM 9.1 platform?. Somebody told me that Basic licenses would be necessary but im seeing CIPC is using Enhanced licenses.

Can i avoid CIPC consumes Enhanced Licenses?

Hi Hector ,

I think You can go for CUWL STD licnese for CIPC. Enhanced would be required if u are deskphone along with CIPC. .

Yes, actually we have CIPC along deskphones. So i understand that is required two Enhanced Licenses (UCL) one for CIPC and another one for deskphone, otherwise CUWL STD only would need one.

Enhanced would be required if the user owns only the CIPC device

Enhanced Plus or CUWL would be required if user has CIPC and another phone

Enhanced plus supports up to 2 devices, CUWL up to 10 devices per user.
