From 8.6.2 DLU is not supported anymore so 8.5 you should still be fine

Hi Van,

As far as I know, DLU is supported for 8.6 as well but is no more orderable.so, Siva needs to order for UCL

Aman,

In 8.6 DLUs are still used for license enforcement however you order licenses based off users.  So a essential user = X amount of DLUs.

Thanks for ur prompt response,

But still i can order DLU licenses on below part number, suggest me

LIC-CM-DL-10

Thanks for your response,

But still i can able to order the licenses

So what should i go for UCL or DLU?

Will it be any issue while on migrating the version later on

Hi Siva,

You can refer the ordering guide on page 17 for UCL

http://icon.zdnet.com.cn/cisco/solution/Cisco_Unified_Communications_System_Release_8.6_Ordering_Guide.pdf

at the backened, it is DLU but you need to order UCL
