Hi. I can see that CME running on a 2801 can have 24 IP phones supported, a 2811 can have 36 phones supported etc..
Consider the following scenario:
Site A 30 phones
Site B 10 phones
Site A would be the HQ. Site B would be a remote office.
I want a receptionist in Site A to take ALL incoming calls, for site A and B.
I assume that if the receptionist transfers calls to Site B over IP, this would only be using a voice dial peer in Site A and one in Site B, so the numbers of IP phones, or licenes that I have in Site A wouldnt affect the amount of dial peers I can transfer calls to?

Hi Davies,
These would be two distinct systems as far as Licensing goes so this would not be an issue :)
Prerequisites for Configuring Cisco Unified CME
Base Cisco Unified CME feature license and phone user licenses that entitle you to use Cisco Unified CME are purchased.
From this newer CME doc;
Hope this helps!
