The first thing to know is that it currently does not work on SIP integrations per the defect I opened CSCte10852.
If you have a SCCP integration, the same documentation as 4.0(5) applies: http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Documents/Unity/LiveRecord/Help/LiveRecordAppNote.htm This is what TAC refers you to; however, I believe that you can make this work by just creating a Directory Number in UCM and setting CFA to the Live Record number configured in Unity.
