Hi, Can anyone tell me what is the advantage of using the following setting in Cisco CallManager ?
1) Location
2) Region
How to make sure that these setting are effective. Thanks

I suggest you check out Communications Manager SRND for full explanation, but essentially:
Location - provides Call Adminision Control where you specify how much bandwidth is allowed for voice and video between grouped devices
Region - defined what codec is to be used between grouped devices
You apply these to Device Pools used by the devices to drive CAC and codec negotiation,

these (region and location) comes under local-based CAC or RSVP-based CAC???
how can i restrict any sites to not to oversubscribe and do limited calls depending upon bandwidth.
