long dialtone after number input

Hi all,

I've configured the following translation pattern:

1000 is translated to 000461234567890

When I call 1000 I hear a continous tone for about six seconds before I get a ringback tone.

Any ideas how I can shorten / remove this?

I'm running cm 3.3

Floyd,

It sounds like either on the 1000 translation pattern or on the route pattern that it translates to, you have the "Provide Outside Dial Tone" option selected. Uncheck this box and it should take care of the problem.
