I'm using jtapi call.connect to place an outside call. It works fine for local calls and 800 numbers, but call manager is configured to require a pin for long distance outside calls so I only get as far as the secondary dial tone that is waiting for the pin. How do I programmatically provide the long distance pin to the call that is waiting for it? Thanks.
To program a code for Cisco CallManager, the code must be part of the route pattern itself. For example, if a user has to dial ?*12345? to get a long distance line, the user could set the route pattern as 9*12345.@.
The drawback to this method is that the access code is visible as the dialed digit on the user's screen. Otherwise, there is no other way to implement an access code.
