All phones on-site are experiencing longer than expected times when calling out. Every call eventually gets out to its destination but takes alot longer than it should. - *note: calls used to talk alot less time

Running Cisco Call Manager 4.1

Gateway = Cisco 2801 using H323

if u have have .T on the gateway dial peer

this will wait until inter digit timeout

which is about 10 seconds

in the case use more spesific dial peer

the same idea in CCM if u have a dial peer with !

if helpful Rate

Is this the .T you are referring to? (the 0T)

"dial-peer voice 100 pots

destination-pattern 0T

progress_ind alert enable 8

direct-inward-dial

port 0/1/0:15"

thanks

No,

That should not affect your calls. I have 9T on my h.323 gateway and I have no delays on the Calls...

You need to check your Route pattern and ensure that you are not using a wild card for the patterns...

Check that you have specific Route patterns for the called destinations

make it more spisific for example

092.....

this is considered more spsific

or let the user dial # after finish dialing

but make it more spesific better

even if u need to make more thank one dial-peer to cover all requeired distinations

good luck

You can reduce the interdigit timer per dial-peer

Timeouts interdigit x- x secs
