Looking for description of how calls log Missed/Received/Placed calls

I've got a bunch of 7942's that aren't not showing any information for missed, received or placed calls.  I've seen a few posts that point to incorrect vlans, or inaccurate opt.150's, however that's not my issue.

We're running firmware SCCP42.9-3-1SR2-1S

The 7962 and 7961 at the same site are on the same subnet, same tftp servers, and the logs work without issue.

I ran a wireshark from one of the phones and I don't see any requests made when i select missed calls, so I'm guessing the logs are stored locally.  Is call manager sending the information to be stored or does the phone itself decide what info to store.

On a side note, the phones have been factory reset and the log calls is selected on each line.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can explain how this process works.

Regards.

What´s your CUCM version?And

What´s your CUCM version?

And yes, CUCM has nothing to do with those logs, they're stored inside each phone.
