Masking called party phone number from phone display

Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 8.6.2.22900-9

Issue:

When an internal IP phone user calls CTI route point #3939 to transfer a phone call he received; (the CTI route point has a call forward all to external phone number 915702708190)
the end user phone displays the off net phone number 915702708190. I am looking to see if there is a way to mask the off net number from the end users phone display when transferring the phone call.

You can use either a translation pattern or a calling party transformation pattern, to be applied on the gateway.

I tried configuring a translation pattern and I am still seeing the "called party" number being displayed on the phone.

You can set the service parameter "Always Display Original Dialed" to true, by default it sets to false and can check.
