Masking Caller ID for outbound 911 calls in CME 4.0.
We have a customer running CME 4.0. They have a PRI coming into the CME router. The router and PRI are physically located at a CoLo. The customer office is at another physical address. The provider of the PRI and CoLo is the same company, they are unable to send the physical address of the client office when 911 is called. Right now when a caller makes an outbound call their DID is showing up as the caller id. Is there a way to mask the caller id when a particular number (ie 911) is dialed, while still keeping DID caller ids when any other number is called? The provider said they could take that 1 number, which would be the same number as a POTS line physically coming into the client office, and pass that info to 911.
