We have CUCM 126.96.36.1990 running on MCS-7835-H2 without issue.
upgraded to 188.8.131.5200. upon reboot, the linux OS updates the BIOS to 7/10/2009 and reboots. during the subsequent POST, the bios gives the following error:
805 - Unsupported Processor Detected. System will only boot on ROMPAQ Utility
Downgraded BIOS to 6/28/2007 and POST errors disappeared. the problem is once it progesses to the OS boot sequence, linux upgrades the BIOS and reloads which gets us back to the "unsupported processor detected" errors.
Upgraded the BIOS to the latest per HPs site (04/26/2010) but no luck, still get "unsupported processor detected" errors.
