Dear Folks,

Just quick question, I have a cluster of 2 MCS-7835 Pub and sub respectively, Now i want to add 3rd subscriber in this cluster but the hardware model is different MCS-7825, theoretically it should work but i wana know practically any one did in past, or is it possible. is there any difference in between MCS7835 and MCS 7825 in the contest of call Manager software.

Regards,

Zeeshan

Re: MCS7835 and MCS7825 Differance

You can use mix of different platforms in cluster, so it wont be any problem to run CM on 7825. Most important is to use the same software on each server in cluster.

Keep in mind that difference between hardware will have impact on call processing capabilities.

Check SRND for some more info: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/6x/callpros.html#wp1043559
