Meet Me conf-cucm 9.1 query

Hi Rebecca,

You would need to check the Maximum MeetMe Conference Participants settings

Both  Ad Hoc and MeetMe conferences have a configurable setting that limits  the number of participants (Software Conference Bridge);

Clusterwide Parameters (Service)

Maximum Ad Hoc Conference = 4

Maximum MeetMe Conference Unicast = 4

The default number of Maximum MeetMe Participants (per Conference) is set at 4.

To increase the Maximum number of MeetMe participants (we have ours at 16);

Go to:

Service Parameters Configuration >Clusterwide Parameters (Service)>Maximum MeetMe Conference

Cheers!

Rob

Meet Me conf-cucm 9.1 query

Hi Rebecca,

Happy 2014 to you as well my friend

No 16 is just what we have set on our MeetMe's but you could

go up to 128 participants on a Software Conference bridge MeetMe;

Cisco Conference Bridge Software

Software conference devices support G.711 codecs by default.

The maximum number of audio streams for this type equals 128.                           With 128 streams, a software conference media resource can handle 128 users in                           a single conference, or the software conference media resource can handle up to                           42 conferencing resources with three users per conference.

Caution

If the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming Application service                               runs on the same server as the Cisco CallManager service, a software conference                               should not exceed the maximum limit of 48 participants.

Most people have some limitations for "outside" connections based on their PRI

or SIP connectivity to the outside world. So keep those in mind as well.

Cheers!

Rob
