Meet-me Conference degrading after 20 minutes CM 4.1(3)

Our customer is using Meet-Me Conferencing on their CM 4.1(3).

They now noticed that when a Meet-me conference lasts more than 20 minutes the voice quality is severly degraded. Even so much that they have to setup the Meet-me conference again.

What can cause this issue?

Here are the details:

CM version:

4.1(3)sr2

CFB resourses:

software based CFB_Pub & CFB_SUB, so codec used internally is G711.

Codec used to PSTN is G729, so transcoding has to take place for participants on PSTN side.

Transcoder resource:

1 transcoder resource of type Cisco IOS Enhanced Medie Termination Point (DSP farm)

I haven't got the exact details of this DSP farm yet. Will post it later.

Meet-me numbers:

Range of 7 meet-me number

Service Parameters Callmanager service:

Maximum Ad-hoc conference = 4

Maximum Meet-me conference unicast=30

Suppress MOH to Conference - True

Service Parameters IP Voice Media Streaming:

CFB Parameters, call count=48, Run Flag=true

MTP Parameters, call count=48, Run Flag=true

The major cause of degrading voice quality is Packet Loss over the IP network. Try doing a test with the IP phone.

Second reason could be layer one connectivity so please verify that the cables are properly connected and there is no duplex mismatch in the network connectivity.
