MeetingPlace Express Call failure : Busy tone instead of the welcome prompt

Dear networkers,

I have Installed Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express 2.0 successfully and integrated it with CUCM 6.1.2 (H.323 Mode).

I have configured the route pattern 9999 to point to MP Express, but when calling the number all ihear is busy tone and NOT the Welcome prompt of MeetingPlace Express.

Can you please help me.

I have checked and found that the MP Epress is successfully configured as a H.323 gateway in CUCM. From the log files on MP Express i can see the call coming from CUCM, so i think it's a matter of MP Express!!

Can you please help me? It's really urgent.

Check to make sure that you have not selected the "MTP Required" check box on the UCM gateway configuration. This will cause what you are describing.

You need to be sure that you are talking G711 as MPE only talks using that codec.

Actually MPE supports G.729 if you enable it. I'm not sure if this was added in 2.0 or 2.1 though.
