We have a UC520 customer who makes extensive use of the MeetMe conferencing bridges. They have requested that callers receive music on hold (MOH) instead of a busy signal when they call into the MeetMe conference bridge DIDs before the bridges have been established. Having callers receive a busy signal causes some confusion and concern that they have the wrong number.
It appears that the busy signal is received simply because the UC520 does not connect the call to the bridge since the bridge doesn't exist yet. I thought of using the unlocked meet-me conference option which should get rid of the busy signal but would pose a pretty big security risk.
Using an B-ACD as a front end for the MeetMe bridge would be an ideal solution. I could have the ACD check frequently to see if the bridge is available or not and then play MOH while the caller is in the queue. I'm curious if the ACD will work with the MeetMe bridge DN though, since it isn't exactly a typical line.
Has anyone tried this before or have another suggestion? Thanks.

the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
