Message forwarding in Unity - accidentally forwarding to all mailboxes?
Yesterday we had a user who forwarded a message (supposedly) to one person, but everyone with a voice mailbox received it. Any ideas on how this happened? Is there an option for a global message forward in Unity that I'm not aware of?

I believe that the problem was that when the user lookup for the destination, he have mistakenly selected one of the Unity Public Distribution Lists or Broadcast Messages Lists; by default, Unity creates an All Subscribers PDL and I think that he sent it to that group and that is why all the Subscribers got a copy of the forwarded message. The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
