I have a MCS 7815 with preloaded CCM 5.0 and 50 Cisco 7940 IP phones.
With the basic configuration all 50 IP phones are communicating fine.
My problem is, I am unable to activate the messages and "help ?" key. What configuration should I do in the CCM to activate messages and "?" button. I should be able to send messages within my 50 Ip phones. Please help...
messages is referred to voice messagesing, that requires you to purchase a solution like cisco unity or cisco unity express. if you meant text messages, this is not supported now. The help key does not do much, the most useful thing if you press it twice while on a call, if it will show you quality statistics.
