Hi,

I don't have a doc confirming this but I have a VG220 running on CUCM BE6000 ver 9.0 and I did not need any aditional licenses.

The licenses is only for the users depending on what type of licensing you make use of the CUWL.

Hello,

Please check if this helps:

hi,

u would be requiring UCL essential license.

Ok, what about if we make it H323/SIP GW. How the user licenses can be tracked ?

If you make it an H323 gateway, then I dont think you would be registering any phones to the CUCM. All you need to do is to configure dial-peers to route the calls. So I dont think you would need any licenses then.

Sam

Hi Sambit,

Technically u are correct but legally I think u would be requiring license.

even the ordering guide says Analog devices are supported with Essential USer license  and must be purchased through UCL.
