try it then let me know
dial peer same as the one above
07-22-2008 01:47 AM
Hi,
The application mgcpapp is not a valid command under the dial-peer....wont allow it...

you need to bind MGCP to the voice ports. You do this by configuring a dial peer for each voice port and binding MGCP to it using the application MGCPAPP command. This command is case sensitive in some IOS releases. To be safe, code MGCPAPP (all capital letters) unless you know that your release is not case sensitive.
VoiceGW(config)#dial-peer voice 100 pots
VoiceGW(config-dial-peer)#application MGCPAPP
VoiceGW(config-dial-peer)#port 1/0/0
When you make a change to the MGCP configuration, such as adding or changing endpoints, it is a good idea to reinitialize MGCP by issuing no mgcp and then mgcp global configuration commands

try it agin
and good luck
hope this helpful

Have you tried using the command
dial-peer voice 100 pots
service mgcp
07-22-2008 02:42 AM
i think service mgcp or application mgcp
he should tell the port that its controlled by the mgcp-agent
right?

The service mgcp, enables the MGCP application on the pots dial-peer.
Although in newer versions of IOS, it is not required. It is just safe to have it there

Pls place output "show running | inclu mgcp" from your rtr.
The output of 'show mgcp' indicated:
****
MGCP call-agent: none
****
It appears no call-agent defined for mgcp.
