hello,
I have been attempting to create a new directory on my 1760 cme router but the command is missing. I founf this out while trying to create a Desktops/320x212x12 for 7970 xml files and png images. Can anyone advise on this.

The problem may be with the type of flash file system that is installed in the external flash of the router. To be able to use the "mkdir" command, the flash file system has to be a Class C type. If it's a Class B, then you may need to format the flash.

There is another option here; rather than place the images for your ip phones backgrounds in unique directories.
Place all the files in the root directory and use the TFTP alias statement to create the illusion of the correct structure.
For example;
tftp-server flash:/7971-ColourBG.png alias Desktops/320x212x12/7971-ColourBG.png
Repeat for all the required files.
HTH.
Regards Mike.
